its all in the phrasing my friend,

limited edition first batch of 5D3, lighter than the later models. This camera will save your spine and wrists, lightweight made for a day of carrying.

Only $4500 ;)

Well regardless mine should have the tape since I just ordered yesterday.

As if there would be any other fix for a light leak than the tape they're using.

Ok, they could have picked a different brand to better fix the psychological issues of the end users.

One may be quite surprised (or maybe not) at the amount of auto customers who expect their car to be re-engineered for a click or pop or buzz when in reality it disappears into the dark confines of the repair facility for the approved factory fix of foam and tape, maybe an occasional hammer, twist, pull, massage. lolz.

Is it just me, or does the new body have some other changes as well?

My guess is that what you're seeing is a result of the two pics being taken at slightly different angles.

Same here, i still some what can't "rotate" the geometry of that pic in my mind to make a better sense out of it.

if you look at the mode dial you can see the difference in angle.
The new image also seems to have direct flash which removed and texture/shadow to show a curved surface.
