Sigma 24-70 is cheaper and even better than the Canon one from my research on web.. my question is I'm using a crop, would it be worth to switch to 17-55 from 24-105? 24-105 gives me better portrait focal range I think..but seems 17-55 has better IQ and aperture advantages.. You will going to miss the L lens quality, dust magnet as well as zoom creep for this 17-55mm f/2.8 Canon 5DMII 35L f/1.4 | EF 17-40L f/4
