I was unable to do this with just LR4, had to download the LR 4.1 RC. Canon 5D Mk III | 24-105 F4 L IS USM | 100 F2.8 L Macro IS USM | 70-200 MK II F2.8 L IS USM|580 EX II

I spend hours on the phone with Adobe weeks ago over the mess they made with 4.0 not kicking off editors like Elements, or plugins such as Nik. This problem set may only be on Mac and not Windows. But they were embarrassed that their on LR was not kicking off Elements as a pixel editor. They say that is part of the corrections in 4.1. So I suggest everyone, with a Mac, move to 4.1. The Windows situation may be different.

I have downloaded the newest Camera RAW and DNG Convertor, but Nothing will allow me to import CR2 files from my 5DIII to LR4. I spent 45 minutes in chat with Adobe and they couldn't get it to work. They somehow got disconnected adter trying to send me to third tier someone to help. A guy with a couple cameras, some lenses, and accoutrements

Does anybody know if LR 3.6 supports the 5D3 RAW files?

So I went back to 3.6 (since I don't have to import from 5DIII). I then deleted 4.0. Last week I installed 4.1 RC2 on OS 10.7.3 and everything seems to work. I have no way yet to test 5DIII imports. Maybe by the end June I can test that with my camera that is on order.
