I don't think that people mind if you do some basic sharpening etc. It's just the special, "personalized" extra processing which changes the color balance, or color tones etc that I think people are talking about when they say they just want to see images from this lens SOOC.

They want to see what type of colors the lens "naturally" produces without adding any special type of processing.

At least that's what I want to see.

Doesn't mean a person has to show mediocre work.

TBH the photos of the children where they appear to have bluish colored skin IMHO aren't very appealing. The kids are very cute, but the color shift is really distracting. IMHO.

Photographers do it in 1/1,000th of a second...but the memory lasts forever!
