Cloudy skies for this morning's moonset, and distant clouds blocked tonight's moonrise. I did get these a little later, and although I'm not satisfied with them, I thought I'd contribute to the thread. Hoping for clear skies in the morning.

Its very interesting to see the different orientations of the moon from everyone's photos. If you look at the bright spot near the bottom of the moon and see how its position changes from pic to pic depending on were people are in the world, looks cool.

To tell you the truth folks, if you're clouded over you're really not missing much. It's not much brighter than your average full moon. It's gotten a lot of hype but it's not such a big deal.

Mactosh - I turned mine 90 degrees because I'm used to seeing that bright spot at the bottom! So my orientation really looks like the post right before mine.
