Haven't posted here in a while (if at all -- I don't remember if I posted in this thread or the original 450D thread). Some excellent shots in here!

For 90% of my shooting, this camera has everything I need... was a great body to learn with. Especially because it accompanied me on my six months in Europe at the end of last year, it's going to be a difficult camera to part with if I decide I need ISO3200, more cross-type AF points, or a stronger body. Some fond memories:

Hello, members,

The photos are just amazing I dug in my archives and found this image of a "fisherman" out on a hot July day enjoying himself. Taken with the Xsi and the Canon 70-200 mm lens.

Is the Rebel XSI a camera a lot a people still using or I'm the only one?

I bough it a few weeks ago as my first DSLR in "Like New" conditions. Even though the camera was released in 2008 I'm really happy and impressed with it. I'm not sure is the reason is because I'm new to photography but I'm really happy with this camera. :)

erikfig and arcsvibe - the Xsi is a wonderful camera and you both will be using it for a long time. I had 3 models of this series, the oldest one I gave to my daughter, the next in age to my son, and I kept the Xsi. A year or so ago I bought a used Canon 5D at a great price. I use them both. Earlier in this group I posted an Egret with a fish in its mouth....came out great.....and this is why I continue to use my Xsi along with the 5D. Have fun.... arcsvibe my cousin, Bertrand Metz, lives in Saint-Sauveur.
I have visited with him and what a great place, and his business is in Laval.

Joe
