Is the Rebel XSI a camera a lot a people still using or I'm the only one?

Bought mine in May of '08. Added a grip for comfort and still use it a lot. Has about 11,000 clicks and still sounds just as clunky as it did when new.

I bough it a few weeks ago as my first DSLR in "Like New" conditions. Even though the camera was released in 2008 I'm really happy and impressed with it. I'm not sure is the reason is because I'm new to photography but I'm really happy with this camera. :)

Bought mine in '10 and it's still as great as ever. At the current $250 price point, it's not even worth selling such a great camera.

Thanks,
All three use external flash.
The first is suppossed to be a good balance of ambient and flash.(single vivitar 285 camera left, 1/16th power)
The second is more dramatic. (single vivitar 285 camera left, full power I think or 1/2)
And the third is one flashed severl times during exposure

:)

I'm still using it. I'll eventually upgrade with video and other features but until then the XSi works fine. And I have over 65,000 clicks!

I've been using mine since late 2008, it's still a great camera! I really want to upgrade to a 5D mkII/III but as a student I cannot afford that.

This thread is slower now than it has been in the past, but I'm still using my XSi I purchased early 2010. I will only upgrade if this one is stolen or I choose to start selling work to earn enough to buy a full-frame. Since I don't foresee those happening, I'll keep using it, it's a great camera!

Sure are, except for one old post titled, 35mm black and white, which are scans of old prints taken with a film SLR in 1994.

As you see, still plenty of users. I bought mine in 2009, I'm holding out for the next iteration of products from Canon (70D maybe?), and then I'm thinking it's upgrade time. Meanwhile, I like my Rebel. Here is something from today, taken with the 55-250. Considering how severely I cropped it, it's not too bad.
