I've done some quick searches, but haven't found any yet. While we all know camera bodies shouldn't let light in, is it a problem if it doesn't cause metering or exposure issues?

Some more Schadenfreude. I just learned that there are a lot of D800 owners who are having problems with the focus points to the left of the viewfinder center, that is, when one is autofocusing with these points, the result is out of focus images. Nikon is requesting owners to send in sample photos before they will do anything.

I don't think this is a firmware fix.
