You can kinda see the fence in the bokeh, but it doesn't detract from the image. :D

oh weird you're right LOL

i'm still a n00b so i was confused how come the fence doesn't show up in front of the monkey??? there was a very close knit mesh link fence about 2 feet in front of me but somehow the monkey looks like there is nothing in front of it *confused*

Yeah, might have been some rudder tail wagging on the plane with the shutter speed and the panning angle. You see it a lot in the "best panning shot" thread where the car's A-pillar is crisp and the nose and tail are motion blurred because the car is sliding and/or turning. It can add something to the implied motion.

Great response. I get the same results in Action Sports where most of an image is sharp yet another body part is blurred. To me the use of that blur to suggest action is a "goes with".

Gosh I love this lens. My wife told me to sell of the rest of my lens since I don't ever grab them when I do a shoot except of this one. Speaking of shoot here's one of my niece. Senior Session.
