If you can't sense the impending doom that is upon us, knowing that, soon enough, Canon's gonna run out of xxxD models to make, I feel sorry for you ![]() It's really just a thought I've had a few times, seeing as Canon has had the tradition of naming cameras x/xx/xxxD for quite some time now. It's not really a thread made out of worry, as much as it is made out of curiosity. And how about that, I was searching for Canon 250D and got plenty of results so I assumed it was a camera... Looking into it further, it apparently is a close-up lens. ![]() Anyway, no worries here. I can always switch to Sony if Canon would stop making cameras due to running out of names ![]() In 10 years, there will only be at most 2 large DSLR manufacturing divisions anyways, with the way global economies and businesses have been heading. Yep, I agree. They are already doing it, so why not continue. I am wondering when the 7D II will come out. Not that I am unhappy with my 7D.
