R-Straps are too expensive for my wallet so I use Q-Strap $32 inc delivery

I was gonna buy one of those but i found more than 3 reviews where they had broke so i though what the heck and spent the extra 25 bucks on the Black rapid to keep camera a bit safer. Im more than satisfied.

Well, I'm sure people have mentioned BlackRapid here. Here's how I usually shoot my gigs:

I'm not pro- or anti-strap. I just do whatever is more practical for the situation. I have the Black Rapid RS-Sport 2 (which I use without the BRAD underarm strap) when I know I'm going to be taking a lot of photos, especially when walking around. When I'm indoors and the camera is going in and out of my bag frequently, I'll go without the strap.

I use a hand strap (Canon E-1 & Harringbone) when I shoot. When not shooting I clip it in to a Black Rapid.

Cheers... jim

Didn't you notice...white glove, white lens on body; black glove, black lens on body. It must be to remind him which body has which lens, during the heat of shooting!

It was an interesting moment; I was shooting the engagement and it was cold so I asked the couple if they had any gloves. The fiance said she had some so she went to get some in the car and comes back with a black and a white one. She said she couldn’t find the other black glove so she took a white glove from the other pair. Kinda cool, ended up having a match for my lenses :)

If you haven't been using a strap in two years, how could you have used the Luma Cinch as it is merely months old?

Like I said, sometimes I need a strap for a second body, and didn't quite like it enough to keep it over my PotN strap.
I certainly did like it better than the R-strap I had (RS-5 I think it was?); I really haven't enjoyed blackrapid products (I'm fine with their fasten-r's though :))

Maybe it would be better worded to say
I use straps sometimes, but only out of necessity, and I dislike them.

I was lucky enough to get one of the last Luma Loops that was sold before they stopped making them - I liked the hardware on the Luma Loop better than the Black Rapid.

I shoot a 1DsMkII withe a 24-70 f2.8 mounted most of the time - its a heavy combination. The sling strap has transformed the amount of time that I can comfortably carry the camera. With any one of several brands of neck straps after about 1-2 hours my shoulders and neck ached. Now with the Luma Loop I can walk around for hours and barely notice the weight of the camera - it was a pretty dramatic change. I really like the quick connector on the Luma - the sling disengages easily and snaps back together securely. Great product. A friend of mine has a Black Rapid and he's equally pleased with his strap - he tried to order a Luma Loop only a week or two after I got mine and they had stopped selling them so he got the BR.

No strap if at all possible. I have used a neck strap for about 3 days in the last 14 years.

Optech sling strap for me...Leaves the bottom open for quick plates, and I still get the ease of bringing it up to shoot with.

Incidentally, the Op-tech sling isn't too different from the Luma Loop. You just needed a way to attach to the tripod mount (though I have to say that it isn't too bad with the strap mounting).
