..Unfortunately, They failed....

I got 8/10 right (although i swear i didnt miss any o_O but thats what it told me) and to me at least, a lot of times it was pretty obvious (I looked at the depth of field in the images, Also the color saturation.. the real camera shots tend to be more punchy and saturated and have isolation, the One X tended to be washed out on my screen)

Maybe not, I still got 9/10. The whole "bet you can't tell what took this" didn't quite pan out the way they intended.

Thats my point, These are low res images, Not even facebook-quality these days and i can still tell the difference..if they were higher quality itd be a slaughter

the only one that gave me trouble was a landscapey one they had because i mostly judged it based on DoF....and colors/dynamic range

Actually im sure htc is betting on most customers not having a dslr or shooting weddings to make a living. In other words nothings going to get past this potn crowd. On the other hand im sure the general public will think htc just made a mind blowing point.

I've seen so many reviews raving about the camera on the One X like its a quantum leap or something...

Even in side by sides...while its better..we're not talking by much... its certainly the biggest most overhyped feature on it i've seen

But then again i dont really use the camera on my phone much

It's telling that they are comparing vastly different images most of the time, so as to preclude any real comparison (e.g. one might be a landscape, the other a macro). If they compared the same image, taken with different cameras, side-by-side, anyone would be able to tell, even with such low-resolution images.

I'd like to see a similar D800e vs Leica S2, Hasselblad H4D-60 or Phase One IQ180 comparison...

7/10 and the cell phone companies are sinking to the same level as that guy who's trying to push a $10 Bolex at the "bazaar".

Haha. 7/10. Guess they have to come up with a harder challenge.

Got 7 out of 10. When using the camera phone outdoor with good light, I get good images. But it sucks indoors.
