Is a Kimber is 1911? I like the looks of them.
Yup, the Kimber brands are the 1911 style, however most people understand that a 1911 frame usually is in .45 ACP, and of course SA/ single action only! My FNP-40 is both double action(DA), and single action (SA), for those who enjoy using single action, as I have grown to understand! I am semi beginner, if that is possible, but I love my Fabrique Nationale d'Herstal with its .40 offering! I have some special guard dog rounds by Federal for the not to nice bad guy that just hit my neighbors older citizens neighbors home! I live in a very nice upper middle class area, and these guy's just love looking for easy pray, however, an easy target they shall become, ok, well, not easy, and i am not paranoid, I just can't stand the fact people think they can get away with anything and then blame it on the poor economy, and not the lack of working anywhere, regardless of pay! Well, short story long, any choice you decide on is the best choice, and any ammo you pick, is the best ammo, and when possible, practice, practice, and more practice!
