Here are a handful of pictures of HMS Vanguard sailing from her base in Scotland today on a deterrent patrol surrounded by a number of escorts of different types.

really liked looking at these as something not see to often for sure.

Nice shots.
I would think a little more blending of hull and side array would be better but hey I'm no nautical engineer.

The thing that you are looking at and thinking is a side array is actually hull strengthening plates that were fitted during her mid-life refit. They don't affect the performace of the boat at all.
