More info | May 15, 2012 21:46 | #2 The after is pretty subtle... removed the green cast on the face, smoothed slight blemishes, exposure slightly brightened, some stray hairs removed... If you're going to go that far I would have burned ( as in dodge and burn.. ) a little bit on the right and left side of her face to add more shape and very lightly clean her teeth up a bit. I would say the file was oversharpened as well but that would be determined by final output size and media, I'm assuming this image was for web viewing only but I would still tone it down. - Paul

I'd have tried to remove the braces and been more careful with color and exposure. Professional wedding photographer, solution architect and general technical guy with multiple Amazon Web Services certifications.

Tim is spot on but...I don't believe that he was blunt enough. You need to ask yourself if you're satisified with it/would you hang that "after" on your wall...I think not. The things you do for yourself die with you, the things you do for others live forever.
