Got it. Thanks.

Replacing my Canon 7D, Tokina 12-24mm, Canon 17-55mm, Sigma 30mm f/1.4, 85mm f/1.4, and 150-500mm with a Panasonic Lumix FZ1000. I still have the 17-55 and the 30 available for sale.

Anybody know if you buy the student edition, how long you have to provide documents?

My wife might go back to school next fall. Would be great to lock in the price, but I won't have paperwork for a few more months.

Also, I might be wrong, but I think on student editions you only get a couple or few downloads, whereas with the regular edition, you can download to multiple computers. So something to conside if you're thinking about getting a new system down the road. They were selling reg at Samy's for $90 last week, should have bought.

Here's a similar deal. Give Adobe a call and ask about registering later. You can download the trial version as many times as you want (and it looks like different Windows Users can each have their own 30 day trial, even on the same computer) but you can only register two copies on different computers.

Anyone know the answer to this? BTW, just checked and the code is still good.

When I ordered through NewEgg, they wanted the Student/Employee ID number. I don't know what happens if you try to register later with a different number.

Does it have to be from University, I was going to use my son's elementary.

You should be okay. The definitive answers to these questions are easy to find on Adobe's site.

Yes, Adobe does allow it. For some dumb reason, I was thinking newegg was doing the verification.
