Whoa, that's kind of a crazy coincidence. I think your shots are better though. The 1.6x crop factor is definitely helpful for the reach in wildlife photography. I was thinking about getting a 7d to get some more reach for sports and wildlife.

Anyone know how the 2x Extender III is with this lens on a crop sensor? It would be a massively long 640mm f/5.6. Actually, can you even use the extenders on a crop sensor? I never looked into it.

Not the greatest shot in the world, but anyone know what this bird is? It was pretty large.
