Wow! I am a real beginner at photography, so I may not be the best to judge your photo..
But I cant find anything that I would change in that pic, love the light and colors. 9/10

If someone can give me hints about what I should do better with lightning/photoshop it would be great!

No worries, we are all here for the same reason, to become better :)

For me I'm still learning and always looking for other peoples opinions on what they like or don't like with my photos.

And for a beginner that is one sweet Captin Jack cosplay shot. The lighting is very good, my only bit would be to check out YouTube for photoshop tutorial. (no rating because I don't have a picture to post at the moment haha)

Welcome to POTN.

Thanks!
The fun thing is that my friend looks like this all the time. No cosplay ;)

Pirate shot 8.5/10. Like the picture, well composed and lighting is good. Minor quibble, on the right cheek (high-near his eye socket) is some hair. Intially it looked like his cheek was sunk in, almost like an injury. Upon closer review its some hair I would have pulled back.

Other than that, great shot.

This is from my backyard. In the early morning just after the lillys opened for the day.

Loving the reflections, the colors and the composition. Only thing that is bugging me is the second flower in the background, wish it wasn't there. 7.5/10

I like the color saturation and 'pop' off of the green in the background. Not particularly into the two deceased flowers, as it is somewhat distracting.

The flowers in the dark and right I am not feeling much love for. Have you tried a crop w/out them? Altogether, 7.0

My daughter at the park with her dog. After the shoot, I wished she had not worn white, but what can you do?

6/10 I like the shot. I'd like to see her more to the left. Less wall and more Air. a bit more color and contrast as well. it seems just a tad over exposed and flat on color.

I found this old Red button on an abandined factoy fence. just the security fence and station and piles of rubble.

6/10 - I like the gradient desaturation but nothing really draws me into the photo.

6/10 on the plane picture.

The good: Great colors, great sharpness, love plane pictures.
The bad: Cutting the wings off. Ironically the word "Army" reads "ARM", as in....you cut them off.
The unavoidable: Power poles are rather distracting.

But keeping in line with flight, here is my entry.

6/10 as well.
I don't like the harsh light, the strong noise - perhaps oversharpened or contrast set too high. Apart from this, nice shot and well framed!

Great timing with this capture... and with a 600D. Shows what an out of date AF can do. Would have been nice to have some sky in the background. Well composed.

8/10

8/10....great composure, great DOF and good overall mood with the pic...would have liked to see the child's expression on her face as she was doing what ever she was doing.

5.5/10 on the geese picture.

The good: Great detail on the chicks, LOVE the fluffy hair/feathers. Nice colors.
The bad: Whats with the 1/2 geese? Either crop out the top one, or put in the full goose. Same with the mother on the right.

I really like the shot, but the bad takes away more than the good can provide.

Keeping with the geese:

Overall the shot is soft I struggle to find anything in focus. Having said that birds in flight are not the easiest of subjects, you need at least 2000 sec shutter speed to freeze those wingtips.
I would like to see the bridge straight, and a little more canvas to the right, as thats the direction of travel. The person walking dead centre to me is a major distraction!
6-10

9/10 Red Wing Blackbird

Good focus, nice colors sharp image! Only minor quibble would be a slight crop of the dead space over his head. Nice Bokeh!
