Where in South Carolina please? Just curious as I am headed there to visit soon

That may be where the Customer Service Reps are located. But I am pretty certain the Refurb stuff is shipped from Pleasant Prairie, WI.

As far as I know the Customer Service reps are just a phone bank. They are not located in the same place as the product (Products ship from Pleasant Prairie Wisconsin - just outside Kenosha).

Physically going to the Customer Service Center will not give you any better product availability than calling them on the phone. I would expect them NOT to be willing to deal with walk in customers

I wasn't planning on dropping in - just curious : ) Having worked in call centers for HP, Gateway and Tech Data, I KNOW walk-in customers are not appreciated ;)

I still find it amazing how geographically diverse these companies can be.

I guess I got a good Customer Service Rep. Called last week to get one and they were sold out. He said he would take my name and number and call back when they got some in. Didn't think that would happen but called friday evening and said he had one if I wanted it. Of course I did :D
