I took these two at the Fort Worth Botanical Gardens just before sunset.

He was hanging around the top of his bush for at least 1/2 an hour. Several people walked over and took photos.

When I got close with my macro, he ducked behind the leaf and it appeared he was thinking that "if I can't see him then he can't see me!?!"

John Williams did such a great job with that score in Star Wars. I don't think those movies would have been the same without his music.

Nice lizard, JTodd!

Tonight, we had a passing rain shower, and when I went outside to see how much rain we'd gotten (not much at all, by the way), I did see this. An albeit faint but double rainbow!

Another quick shot with the G12 from by backyard (yes, what a lovely view of a cell tower I have).

I may be fascinated with volcanoes, but the name's Lisa.

I went out yesterday on the WWII Liberty ship SS Jeremiah O'Brien. This is one of the tugs that escorted us.

Joayne: Great shots, the only bird I have around here is an elusive Cardinal the starts singing at $:30 in the morning. One day I'll get a shot of him.
Guitarfreak: looks a lot like my cat when he was younger.
John you're showing your age but then I have a few 78 records lying around someplace.
Great shot of the lizard JTodd
Love Rainbows biut don't get too many chances to get a shot like that Lavanut.
Tim it looks like that tug was movng right along, must have been a great ride.

The local car Antique Car show was held yesterday in St Lambert so I dusted off the camera's and went to see ehat I could find.
Was extremely hot 30 Centigrade and bright sun, wish I could find my polarizing filter.

It was a patient that really wanted to see the runners so the staff brougth her out I thougth that was so cool but then again I know a couple of the nurses that work at that hospital and know they are awesome. And the runner in yellow played the guitar for her.
