We've engaged a designer to help us create a new logo. This is the first pass after which the designer will create 4 more variations on a theme based on which ever logo example we choose from these 4. I'd love to get some feedback from the folks here on which (if any) they like and why.

We are primarily event/portrait photographers, but have done everything from aerial photography to product images.

Thanks

Very nice. I can say that I like 2 the least.

1, I'm very drawn to that tree for some reason, so I like it.

So, in order, 1, 3, 4, 2.

#3 is probably the best in my opinion, but none of them are really all-encompassing.

#4 could be generic enough to do anything, but the typography looks like an Eye Chart.

No 3 looks good, but the solid black makes it look like a cross, it doesn't say portrait or event photographer to me, more a natural beauty product logo.

No 4 looks like NatGeo's logo....

What was your brief?

#4 is awful. #1 or #2, I guess. I'm not really crazy about any of them, if I'm being honest.

I don't like 1 but 2 and 3 really caught my attention. 2 is very simple and 3 is simple but catchy.

I guess number 3 would be my choice. I like number 1 as an image, but I really don't see it as a logo. The typeface in number 4 isn't very nice either, I agree with Todd about it looking like an eye chart.

Also, in number 3, is there any reason that the lower leaves don't match the shade of grey of the other outer leaves?
