noticed this on a wall in my office. the colors changed with the movement of the sun. they are the results of stained glass i have in a window. i thought they looked pretty cool.

I just bought a new Canon 60D Saturday. I found this SITE (external link) with a screen protector for the 60D.

Does any one feel it is worth the $14.99 or would it be a waste of money?

Do the screens on the 60D scratch easily?

Thank you!

They are nice, I've had them on my phones before. I actually prefer the ones from Ghost Armor, however they do not have one available for the 60D :( I had one on my XSI.

Def worth the money...I had this one on my 60D and it worked great http://www.amazon.com …15855&sr=8-1&tag=27411-20 (external link)

Thank you, I just placed my order

I ordered the one from ZAGG.com called Invisible Shield made for the 60D. I put it on the camera last night. Before I installed it I read the instructions plus there was a video on ZAGG.com showing how to install it which helped. I did everything as explained but one of my fingertips got slightly stuck to the sticky side of the screen protector. I went ahead and installed it, but now I wish I had not as there is a mark in the protector plus the entire screen is not clean looking, kind of a small tiny ripple, wave everywhere.

I have sent ZAGG a note thru customer service asking if there is a safe way to remove the protector and have my LCD screen still look like new, but my gut tells me that will not happen with the glue on the back of the screen protector now attatched to the LCD screen.

If anyone else has any thoughts of using this product STAY AWAY from this type of screen protector. I wish I had because now I am guessing I will have to live with this for a long time. Sending it to Canon to have them put on a new LCD screen because of my stupid move will be costly I am sure.

EDIT: The fact this is a holiday weekend I know I won't hear from ZAGG until Tuesday at the earliest, probably not until Wednesday.

i use the micro-solution that todmac referred to. works great, easy to work with and leaves no residue when you take it off.

I have the Zagg protector on my Acer Tablet. If I remember right, they said that you can lift one end and then work the solution it came with to separate it. I have to say that I am not impressed with its performance on the Tablet.

I don't think I have much solution left but I can order more or use the micro-solution Jay referred to.

In reply to those looking for screen protection for the 60D, I purchased this one about a month ago from B&H : http://www.bhphotovideo.com …LCD_Screen_Protector.html (external link)

The brand's Vello, I'm assuming its the house brand of B&H. It works great, its actually a hard plastic overlay with glue around the edges so it adheres to the LCD quite well. It doesn't leave as many smudges or finger prints compared to not having it on. I think its definitely worth the $15 dollars.
