As in 2 second old newborn! My wife gave birth to our first child this past Wednesday, May 23 to a baby girl. This was the most difficult shoot due to the sheer emotion of the situation, and it was hard to shoot and control myself. They are not the best, but the emotion makes them better. The few shots here were taken as my wife was pulling her up immediately after being born. These were basically SOOC, with some adjustments in camera raw and some vignetting. Of course, any commentary/critique is welcome.

How can there be any critique of such a precious moment? They are beautiful and will be cherished, I am sure. I am impressed you could even hold the camera steady!

Congrats to you, new papa! Enjoy every single moment!

What a moment! Congrats man. 3 weeks ago my daughter was born (also our first). Everyone told you how great parenthood would be but it really is unexplainable. Enjoy every minute. It really does go by so fast. That's not just a saying.

These are beautiful pics! Who could find anything wrong with such a raw and real moment?

Congratulations! My favorite is shot #3... Taking a look at her with a tear streaming down her cheek. Priceless moment.

Loving my new camera! I have absolutely NO idea what I'm doing with it,
but giving "hobbyist p
