Iannes,

Great set. So sharp and the colors are sweet.

Iannes, I agree re: the quailty of those zoo shots, some excellent images in there.

Here's a little test of the speed with which the 5Dmk2 + 70-300LIS can react. I was sat having a cup of coffee in the garden (with the strap around my neck in case anything of interest arrived) when I spotted this pigeon doing the "Death Dive" approach to its perch on our roof.

I just had time to put the coffee down, bring the camera up and click. (its cropped down to around 1100 pix to remove boring blue sky) using AF, single shot, all focus points lit

Splendid catch oldcanon.

Miguel - cool shots. Well done.

----
Have not been using the lens much as I am playing around with a new macro lens and need to learn its ins and outs. So have forced myself to not take the zoom with me as I used to before.

Well resume as soon as I get comfortable with the new one.

cracking shots Miguel
Thanks Bobobird, did you get the 100 f2.8 LIS? if so, have fun - its an amazing lens and I find that the AI servo AF + IS works incredibly well, even at 1:1 using centre focus point

some great surfing shots there, particularly #3 for me.
That's a nice looking bit of coast by the way, where is it?
