Any unsual combination I know but I'm running out (almost ;)) of major groupings.

1. Black and White Owl - Arenal Observatory Lodge. If you look carefully you'll notice its bulging throat as it completes the last hoot of a call.

2. Ferruginous Pygmy Owl - Hotel Bougainvillea, Santo Domingo

3. White-Winged Dove - Hotel Bougainvillea, Santo Domingo

4. Inca Dove in warm morning light - Hotel Bougainvillea, Santo Domingo

You had a great trip!
Such a variety.
I have the white winged doves here like pigeons.
They are cool.

Jeremy thank you. They were fairly common there as well but there are definitely none here in Ottawa.

Thanks Sharon. It was very hard to manually focus in the dark.

Thanks Gary. Rick Dobson found both owls for us. The Black and White was calling near our lodge rooms in the evening.
