So i will admit that i am by far a n00b at shooting people. So im down for any sort of advice I can get.

The wife and I decided to go walk on the beach a little bit this weekend and i snapped a few pics of her, and one of us. these are just the lowquality facebook links

A fill flash or a reflector would help to light up the faces :)

^ yes i was thinking that.

my flash was dead and I have yet to buy a reflector. Any other changes i shoulda made?

although I am not a big fan of the blown out style number one is good. Number two is excellent as well. Cheap solution. Carry extra batteries. :)

i like 1 not sure what you are looking at in 2 and the last is way underexposed and could use a flash or reflector

thank you.

we were debating looking at camera vs looking off in distance. I now know for future pics to look at the camera.
