Hopefully you can continue this review with the new 24-70 II and see how it stacks up. ;)

Thanks for the comparison!

i think i accepted long ago that my Canon was not sharp at 2.8.

but there seem to be some freak copies out there that are sharp @ 2.8 from what i've read :)

how's the Sigma stack up to these 2?

I have not really done any tests with my lenses, but I'd like to test the 24-70L against the Tamron. When is the mark II of the Canon hitting the stores?

Based on Photozone's review I will be replacing my 28-75 with the new Tamron at some point.


Bohdan - I may be, and probably am, completely wrong.
