We ended up with a fantastic day for some WWII birds, great weather and even though there were some clouds, I had a great time.

Thanks, I was thinking on coming up with different shots and I wasn't sure that shooting at f4 (shot with the 24-105) would give me the desired effect, but I think they came out perfect!

Hey! I was there too! Looks like you were able to get closer to the larger planes? I was there Saturday only and the big planes on the ground were off limits.

Awesome shots! Nice to see these beauties still flying. I got to see a Mustang, B24 and B29 years ago before I had a camera, but have always wanted to see a B17 and some of these others. I love the WW2 stuff.
