I meant "semipalmated" ( I wasn't trying to invent a new species) :)
Supposedly pretty common little guys but I've never shot them before. I find them quite cute :)

how much crop did you do?

thanks, My distance was about 15-20 feet, and I cropped these about 40-50%, I think my crops before resize to web were in the 2000-2500 pixel wide range (from the original 5184 pixels wide)

These are some of the smallest shorebirds, smaller than robins for instance.
