Clouds out here in the Philippines, been shooting since 600 am, this one thru the clouds at 8:40 am ...three active regions, AR are visible on the surface of the sun and the planet on its way to transit the sun...this will end in three hours from now, all visible from here

Are the different colors of the sun due to the angle of the sun from the camera or is it the camera settings or the atmosphere or ????? I know you can up it in post (I did on mine a little) but there are a lot of variations. I'd think that it would be more white the higher in the sky when you took the shot and more orange as it got towards the horizon...

Differences in exposure and most likely differences in the types of filters used.
