Looks genuinely interesting, What we have is a compact with a 1" sensor like the Nikon 1, Yet is smaller than the Fuji X100 (Which uses a 2/3" sensor) and the G1X (which uses a 1.5" sensor) its roughly the size of the S100 which means yes, this is an actual -compact- camera to boot.... which i think is what caught my eye more than anything
Looking through samples it looks like its shaping up nicely, the 20mp sensor, Zeiss optics and BionZ processing seem to be producing very good images, higher ISO looks a little soft from NR but id like to see processed RAW files before being too harsh on that
at $650 its a bit dear, but still less than the G1X and at least it really does make sense because of the size of the thing, This is smaller than any mirrorless from the looks of it...and its genuinely a "fit in the pocket" type of compact camera
Sony might have a knockout on their hands
