Few weeks ago, I went to Boca Grand (Gasparilla Island) for an Easter egg hunt
with our grandchildren. After the gala event, I drove to the South most end, to
Boca Grande Pass and Lighthouse. I came across this boat, a real nice twin
engine Center Console. According to the park ranger, it arrived about 2:00am,
reportedly with steering problems. When I arrived Sat about 11:00am, a
professional tow company was already on site with two boats.

all shot with 7D, 18-200, some extensively cropped

So sorry about the double posting of this thread. Completly forgot that I had posted them here. If a MOD would like to remove this thread, it is OK with me.

Sorry again folks.

What do you mean?

There are some strange laws about landed boats under special circumstance and then who can own it if salvaged.
May be there was a bigger egg to hunt there but then I am not too sure how those laws work.

Salvage is an unfounded assumption. The ranger said the boat had a mechanical issue so it seems more likely that the owner of the boat was having it towed to a place where it could be repaired.
