There is no driver for it for windows 7 so no software will work unless I go back to XP and use firewire. I like the idea of using a monitor and doing it that way so that will work if I need, I will get a cable to connect the laptop monitor to the camera, if I ever have the need. What was first a nice extra to have turned into an all out project where the need does not justify the time and money. Canon 1D MKIII
