I used a grid for an AB800 and taped it to a 430EXll. With those settings the ambient light gets killed pretty much all the way and the speedlight highlights the edges. The light was positioned a little bit behind me pointed at an angle right at me.

Used an ND grad to tone the sky down.
really really enjoying using NDs....Though it is a pain to carry round a tripod all the time.
