The couple at night reminds me of some of the scenes from Vincent Laforet's "Reverie" :)

Here's one from me at f/2. Seems I've only been able to shoot plant life with mine so far, but I will definitely be using it more often as more opportunities arise. I have been using mine a lot for video work though.

Woah! You're right! I didn't know anything about this movie :)

BTW, your photo has really vivid colors. Like it :)

Hi.

I have a B+W filter on it and without any problem.

:p

I just bought the following filters and the hood will not fit. B+W 58mm XS-Pro MRC XSP Filter (UV) and B+W 58mm MRC Pro CPL. Are the filters wrong or I'm I doing somethin wrong ?

Thanks.

I just bought this lens a few hours ago from someone on Craigslist! Tried it on the way home.

What are these limitations if you don't mind em asking, any insights or cliff notes on the best way to use this lens would be appreciated.

well 1.4 is not really useable for anything apart portraits or flowers at short distances but becomes very nice at 2-3m (6ft). It has a specific way of rendering so you have to learn to use it as it only goes away bu f2. I heard there is profound focus shift at f2-f2,8 but as i use that range very very rarely i havent noticed anything yet (my main range is 1.4-f2 and f4-onwards). So yeah, the lens is excellent just keep in mind that you have to keep in mind the looks it produces as it is seriously a different beast with different features at different apertures :D

For some reason this lens makes me think of outdoor editorial fashion photography. :|
