Do any of you primarily use WordPress for your site? What's a good free theme? Can't do SmugMug right now.

If you are able to hack a bit of code (.php) around then Grid2 is a good starting platform, just needs a bit of personalisation.

Thanks. That looks nice. Anyone know of any negatives about this?

I have written code for WP before. What is Grid2? I've seen lots of stuff that uses grids, but don't know anything about grid2. Couldn't find out much on search.

Here's mine, though, I started it and then decided against the whole business thing for now. Its far from done but you get the idea. Its Photolux theme.

My recommendation here. It costs $75 but honestly that's less than a memory card, let alone a camera.

Your website is your primary way of advertising and showing your work to potential customers. Why cheap out?

Shane,
Is the $30 for the custom design option?

Thanks!

Im not sure what you mean. You can change a lot of things within the theme. Also, on their forum, if you want to know how to do something, you can post and the code writers will reply and tell you how to do it. :D

Spend the $75 and go get http://www.photocrati.com/ (external link), It is by far the best photography based theme for wordpress, it even includes a shopping cart that can be set up with regular Paypal so people can pay deposits and or buy stuff from your site,

I think this one looks good for a free template.
