I didn't know payphones were still in existence. I figured I'd photograph one as they're an endangered species.

A few more from my hydrant series.

I waited in line behind him once at Staples, waiting to see a Lakers game. Nice guy. I didn't know who he was, but one of them celebrity/paparazzi guys did and came over with an HD cam and started filming and asking him questions trying to strike up a conversation. Of course security came over and then shuttled him through the front.

An issue I ran into this past weekend: when shooting on a Custom Setting (C1 on the dial), if I make any changes, and the camera goes to sleep, when it wakes up the settings are reverted back to the stored values. Really annoying, anyone else experience this or did I gloss over something in the manual?

I have a question, can you record the photos on both SD and CF cards in the same time, or you must choose either one or the other?

Hm? That's how it's suppose to be. If you want to keep those settings... you need to re-register it for that particular custom dial.

Otherwise, just shoot in Av/Tv or M mode and the camera will remember what settings you left it at before it went to sleep.

Yeah, you can record to both at same time, to the one then the other if the first fills up, only one or the other....raw to one jpeg to the other and all variations in between...

Shot from an Anime Convention this weekend(AnimeNext). The glare here was really bad but the 5D3 locked focus with out much problem. I was just attempting a type of shot I never tried before.

Thanks, that's really great as I recently lost so many photos when my CF card just died during the shoot and I could never recover anything.

Better yet, set up an eye-fi card in the SD slot. And have it wireless transfer to your ipad or laptop. Never lose images again.
