Haven't posted here in a long while. Everything recent has been excellent. So exciting to see our Rebel take such amazing photos.

Here are a couple from a recent trip to the park.

Depends on your style... im a sports guy.. i like the crops for the free reach.. i have thought though FF for night deck hockey.. but im going to push the iso this year.. usually im using my 85mm.. @ f1.8 - 1/500 @ ISO 1600.. ill push it to iso 3200 and 6400 if i can get to f2.8 or so....

i will at one point have a 7d (keep saying that)... but my t2i will always be here by my side.. enough features that i can use for my photo booth game plan... but yet easy enough for my wife to use.. (i set it for her to AV or TV and she is good)...

But I need the money :(

But I agree with you, if I have the money I will keep my 550d :)

Wide - super shots. Sometimes I wonder if one of these guys will hit you one day. :) They look pretty unsavoury.

Peter: #3 BIF is incredible. Congrats
Wide Boy: good subjects. Quite interesting to examine, actually. There's a lot of dedication behind those body mods.
Marlfox: you continue to refine your skills. Very nice and entertaining set. Would you mind sharing your lighting setup and equipment you used?
MattPharmD: I love the "no fishing" AFLAC headshot :)

Thanks :D

I have 2 Elinchrom BXRi500s and an AB800 that I use for hair light.

Top 2 were shot with the Elinchrom Deep Octa camera right and a 60x24 camera left as fill with the AB back right as hair light.

Second set were shot with the AB800 in a giant softbox (think its 5x3 foot, not sure) camera right and Elinchrom into a silver umbrella camera left.

Pretty much always set the lights up so I'm shooting at F8or11, 125th at ISO100. Pretty easy really :)
