I had a chance to shoot "The Greatest Show on Dirt" the World of Outlaws at the famed Knoxville Raceway.

Once again these were all shot without flash on my 1d MkIII and 70-200 2.8

On a side note I was talking to one of my photog friends at the track last night and a couple weeks ago he was at a different track shooting and he did some stuff with flash and the other photographers that were there, was saying that he was using the Brandon Anderson technique and making fun of it.

Anyways here are the images from last night. more can be seen on my website as always CC is welcomed.

kind of some weird tones in the first three portraits. the race shots are great though. really sharp and great motion blur. P.S. Flash sucks on dirt tracks. catches all the dirt in the air and generally freezes the cars.

Thanks Tim!! You know they let Ref run that forum and he ran it right into the crapper. Since then I really haven't found a decent forum to post on, just hoseheads every now and then.

Yea I added some gold color to the portraits, I have a friend down under that does this and for some reason I really like it. I know its not for everyone though.
