North Branch Chicago River Sunset

A friend of mine recently moved into a new condo with this amazing view in River North. Last week, he invited me over so I could shoot the Venus Transfer and after seeing his new place, I new I had to come back when the conditions were right to capture a sunset with my wide angle lens. I have been watching the conditions over the past week, and yesterday seemed like a good day to give it a try. Anyways, here is said view just before sunset yesterday.

Dawn on Convict Lake with the sun illuminating the top of Mt. Laurel and casting a reflection into the lake. My only neighbors this morning were some campers that had their lanterns on, on the left side of photo. Convict Lake is in the Eastern Sierras near Mammoth Mountain and very easy to get to.

Have plenty of Canons, enough ammo, enough to blow 'em to "L". Now, I just have to learn to aim.
