I just got a 50mm 1.8 and a T2i and was looking for something to shoot. I found this guy a very willing subject. Any and all comments welcomed. Here is a link to my Flicker for a larger one.http://www.flickr.com/photos/pepgirlz/7372361590/ (external link)

Well it looks sharp and well exposed. The only advice I will give you is to try another angle. You generally want the 'face' of your subject in there to give the photo some feeling.

Is that a little movement blur that I see? You might want to up the shutter speed from 1/200. ;)

What is that white stripe? Is this on a roadway? If so, it begs the question: why did the snail cross the road?

This was on my patio table on a very rainy day. I was dodging rain drops so yes that probably is motion blur. Thanks for the comments.
