1d4 or 1dx
I do like the 1.3 crop of the 1d4
but the new AF is supposed to be the bees knees.

Cambo WDS camera system with a whole lot of schneider rodenstock lenses, Phase One IQ180 digital back, and either a 645DF body with the LS lenses or a Hasselblad H4x with the lineup of HC lenses :)

1DX and D4, check them both for a while and keep just the one I preferred. However this is just in theory since neither costs an amount I am willing to spend on a camera. In reality I'm completely happy with the camera I am willing to buy.

Eh... nothing big for me as I'd just want a Hasselblad H4D-60. It's only 41 GRAND!

Me too.

i have friends who have expensive cameras and I have had the luxury of using the previously mentioned Hasselblad H4D and Leica M9, gotta say I didn't care for either. Recently got to use a D800 and liked it, but it doesn't cost enough to play the "if you could choose any camera" game.
Given what I like to shoot and money is no object I'd have to pick the Seitz 6X17 with the D3 back.

I don't know enough about which expensive (overpriced) camera I would want but......I would if I could have a year with Ansel Adams or the likes of a pro in his class. Then it wouldn't matter because I could rock any camera lol!
Or to at least go back in time and start this whole process from an earlier age!

I believe I just went through this exercise...5D Mk III.
I was recently in the only real camera store left in KC and saw my 50 summilux (same vintage) for sale for $1500. Hard to believe I bought my M4 with the summilux for $360 (in 1967). Should've bought a couple more.

Film: Leica M-4, Elan 7E, Rolleiflex 2.8f, Pentax 645 -- Digital: Canon Pro-1, EOS 5D Mk III
