Well I decided to go with the 85L II version and it should be here next week. Now I gotta reorganize my collection. Thanks for the help all.

That's a wonderful collection though :p

Na....I prefer primes and not zooms lol. When I was with Nikon, I had the 70-200mm vr2 and although it was an amazing lens....i went back to primes.

I just got this one and am still learning to use it. But I'll throw up a couple of early field trials.

Ah, I feel you on that! I'm actually selling off my 70-200 as I much prefer primes to zooms as well. Well you can sell the 35 for a 200 f2L ;)

I want the 35L to be my walk around lens lol...so that 200mm wouldnt exactly work...unless youre talking about the 200mm 1.8 :p

I would get rid of the 50L, I could never sell my 35L this is my all purpose lens. Also I would get rid of the 17-40L and replaec it by a 14L or 24L :)

my personal goal are 14L 35L 85L 135L, in the first place the 85L, when i see the pictures posted here it makes me dream even more, but the price of this lens is a real pain in the ass.

After just receiving the 50L last week and the pictures it takes, its hard to let go lol. Yes the price tag is steep for the 85L but I think itll be worth it. I should receive mine this week. The 35L is also amazing and would be a great walk around lens. My future setup would want to be 24L, 35L, 50L, and 85L.

It's such a beauty :)

I'd ditch the 35 ANYDAY for either the 200 f/2 or 1.8.
