I really like what I am seeing. If 7d can do landscapes well, then that means I don't have to sacrifice reach and speed!

I agree, from personal experience as well as from the images sampled here, that the 7D is a very capable landscape camera. I love it with the 10-22, and would recommend an EF-S UWA lens for any 7D shooter who is serious about landscapes. Not that you can't do landscapes without an UWA lens, but it is so much more fun with one.

exactly.
the 5d2 does a slightly better job but the 7d does fantastic photos and I think in print smaller than a poster you would be hard pressed to see a difference.
also, GET THE 10-22!
I want one so bad. I havent taken any landscape with my 60d (same sensor as a 7d) because I dont have a UWA.

This. I've been shooting with a 5d2 for a month or so now, and yes its IQ is slightly better but you wouldnt notice without very close examination. I went to a FF because of slightly better lens choices for wide primes.
