A few that I like but this one is one of my favourites - enough that it's my desktop image on my home PC.

1d mk4, 1/60, f/8, iso 100, 100mm

.DAVID.

Funny bit is I actually really don't like the super slow shutter speed shot's

EOS box that goes click and some tubes with glass in them on the front.

Love this Panning Shot! Would you mind teach me how to set the Shutter speed and Aperture? How far from the subject is perfect? And what Lens do you use for this shot?

From the EXIF on this image, you can see it's 1/125 at f/13. Focal length is 300mm.

Distance I can't comment on, but I'll bet it's 75-100m.

Set your camera on Shutter priority, set SS @ 150th, swing camera aiming @ car, GENTLY squeeze off shutter...while still swinging focusing on car...
You'll need 200+ on lens length, longer out to say 400 the better, try standing on inside of a corner to begin with follow cars into corner then pan nsqueeze shutter...
More blur = slower SS
Staert with 150th or 200th, try working your way down to 90th....good luck

Set IS on LEns to @,
Set AF to Ai Servo.

you don't have to have a long lens to do pans, I routinely use my 10-22, and 24-70L, it all depends on how far from your subject you are...panning with a 400mm is a lot harder IMO.

Want a good read on pans, I am sure it has been posted here before, but never hurts to show it to folks asking about it anyway.

Thank you very much.
I dont have 300mm Lens.:( It takes a lot of practices I think. Love car/Motor racing, sure I wish I was there. Those cars are all beautiful.

I was digging through an old drive last week, and came across a directory of raws files from a track day I got to shoot back in '06.
