Ian, you're driving me crazy with the birds you have available there. Especially the eagles. Love the tern images.

:p HAHA Harv! Glad you like. That tern was crazy, he just sat there on the buoy as I idled up in my boat, reaaaalllllly slowly, and he just didn't seem to mind me at all. He could have stepped off the buoy and onto my foredeck if he'd been inclined ;). And the eagles, well like I said, they're very active now due to the gaspereau run. I will take a video soon and post it to show you what I mean - the shoreline is alive with splashing fish. It's amazing how Mother Nature provides such abundance at the time when the young eagles are hatched and hungry.

I especially like the tern, mostly since I've never seen one IRL. Very cool.

The eagle population seems very healthy here, Mark. Although, I heard a story on the radio this morning that a rather big study is underway on Prince Edward Island (just across the Northumberland Strait from me) to examine the effect of lead poisoning on eagles and their young. They have tested 30 eagles so far this year. Apparently the lead is coming from hunters' bullets, which the eagles eat.

Many thanks, Bret. They're looking down at the fish splashing in the river, and they are fairly tolerant of a boat.

Many thanks Craig. Went out again today and didn't take a single shot. Figured I'd just enjoy the ride and give the eagles some peace ;)

Great series Ian. Especially #1 but all are good. I'm sure that even if I had a boat it wouldn't find the variety you have here.
