Okay, here we go folks. This was a tough one for me to pick the winners so I thank you for all your great entries. :)

Kev: Clever idea (as usual) & I love the motion of the knife being so obvious. LOL!
Bob: Somehow, this was exactly what I expected from you and I am very glad you did not disappoint me.
Linda: I loved this shot and only wish I had been there to partake with you. I really like the PP you did on this as well.
Cory: Hmmmm, I could not decide if this was a big cedar chest with pots of flowers or a smaller box with just the blooms. Somehow it didn't grab me.
Carolyn: Everybody loves a birthday cake and this was no exception: the colors are great but wish the background was blurred out a bit more.
Michael: Nice, crisp clear shot & I am really liking the best edges of the box.
Fenka: I have a grandkid who loves to be in the box as well so this made me laugh at the familiarity of it. Welcome to the challenge!
Raven: Great colors & I love the details on the box. Way cool.
Marie: Who can resist chicken bums, lol! Always love your entries and like Bob, I expect this sort of thing from you. Great!!!
Jim: Ahhh, nostalgia in a box. Are these both yours or yours and Elaine's? Either way, they sure brought a flood of great memories back.

Winners:
3rd: Michael
2nd: Linda
1st: Jim Askew.....Take it away Jim :)

Great entries to a clever contest this week. Congratulations to Linda and Michael. A a special thanks to Mo for selecting my entry as 1st!

Both my wife and I graduated in June 1961 from different high schools. We met that fall at Georgia State University standing line to register for our freshman classes. By the end of that year we were wearing each others HS rings...sadly a fine tradition that no longer exists today. Two years later we were married which by my math makes 2012 our 48th year of marriage. Years of college, work, kids, and grandkids later we occasionally get those rings out and wear them out for dinner just to remember :-) When I saw the contest theme for last week I knew I had the perfect entry for "in the box."

Sorry I haven't been around much this year...had some major health issues with diabetes which I have finally resolved; and I have had a slew of weddings and event gigs to photograph. Health is much improved now and no new photo gigs on the horizon.

I'll have the new contest theme up by tonight...and, thanks agian to all for some wonderful entries :-)
