Hi everyone! I'm a Noob! I joined the forum so I can learn to use this nice camera I have. Need to step up from taking decent snapsots into the realm of proper photography.

Welcome! I love the pic, I could never get my two dogs to sit still that long lol.

Sounds like tomorrow's theme haha. Those with proper vision must take shots before editing

Oh sh*t. I'm in trouble. Just got back from shooting a prom, I was paid directly by the school, over 400 people, big contract. All went well. Until I got home.

Put memory card in the card reader, LR says files are corrupted. Put it back in camera, also corrupted files.

It was working fine when I put it in the bag 20 minutes ago, I could see all the pictures. No water, shock, drop or anything, I finished shooting, put it in the bag and now corrupted files. Sandisk 32Gb Class 10.

:(

Really sorry to hear that man, had the same thing happen with a PNY class 10. Tried 3 different computers, several recovery programs, etc. I was bent out of shape and those pictures were nothing crucial. Best of luck in handling the situation professionally.

*edit, does the computer still recognize the card itself? If so you may have good luck with the recovery programs, from what I've read they are pretty successful.
