Wow I wouldn't even imagine what would have happened if I would have lost the 700+ pictures of the prom. I wasn't the GWC, I was the official photographer. I think a lot of people would have hated me, they were over 350!

I tried to get really creative last night with my daily driver and the milky way. It was really rough getting them both in the same shot but I did it. On my LCD it looked epic, on the computer I clearly missed focus. :( I may post a few up tonight so you guys can get a good laugh.

My Gf thinks I need glasses and that's why I keep missing focus, well and not seeing things well. I wonder if that's possible?

QUOTED IMAGE

vinz you have made such a large improvement in so little time with your portrait work and lighthing! though for me i'm not a fan of the models smiling especially for low key - would've made the shot more dramatic if they look away from the camera as well - but if thats what your clients wanted then can't help it there

Thanks Marc.

Yes, the agency manager/owner/director was the one directing. It's actually two, one smiling and one serious.

Beauty Dish works really well. on that shot though there's another speedlight with mini-softbox attached to it. I can't use my umbrella on it, too windy last night. Thanks I have the mini-softbox.

I got my eyes checked last week due to not being able to tell focus on my rebel 35MM(no diopter adjustment). Yup, turns out I need glasses! Small astigmatism when viewing up close objects!

I had to laugh because I turned 30 yesterday and need glasses! I fear the worst for 40!
