About the warranty, do you know if you can add the 3year warranty that usually comes with their ex lenses?

Probably not since that'd make the reduced warranty a complete non-issue

anyone have experience with sigma refurbish products? i m interested in the 70200.

I just pulled the trigger on a 150-500- couldn't resist the price of $800 (G*dd@mn NY tax though). Free shipping. We'll see how it goes, it seems people love or hate this lens.
ETA: I must have got the only one, not in stock anymore.

Sigma 50-150 os just arrived. Can't believe they actually let this one out. DOA, auto focus does not work at all, and to top it off they want me to pay the shipping on the return.
